Celebrating 6 Months of Lewis Creates: The Rise of the Fractional Head of Marketing

Six months after launching Lewis Creates, the business has undergone a significant shift from a new startup to a strategic marketing partner for companies across the region.

Founded after nearly a decade working within the agency sector, the move was driven by a clear gap in the market for marketing management that is rooted in design. With a background in graphic design and experience across wider marketing disciplines such as strategy and lead generation, the business was built to bridge the gap between visual identity and performance-led marketing.

To mark the milestone, Lewis Creates has recently completed a full rebrand to better reflect its positioning as a fractional head of marketing service. The original branding, created years earlier as part of a personal portfolio, was quickly outgrown as the business gained early traction.

The rebrand was delivered in collaboration with Worcester-based designer Paul Carnall of Flygun Creative. Despite having in-house design expertise, the decision was made to bring in an external creative to ensure a fresh perspective and allow the business to prioritise client work during a period of growth.

Over the past six months, the company has worked across a broad range of sectors, including legal services, renewable energy, hospitality, retail, and software. This varied client base has enabled a cross-industry approach, applying ideas and strategies from one sector to another.

The business operates as a central marketing function for its clients, managing strategy, creative output, and external suppliers. This model is designed to support business owners who have reached a stage where marketing management becomes a barrier to further growth.

Looking ahead, the focus for the next phase is on expansion, with plans to partner with more businesses seeking a more structured and design-led approach to their marketing.
