No red buzzers for Bishop Perowne's talented students.

Bishop Perowne CE College Students showed off a diverse range of skills during the school's "Bishop's Got Talent" event with students. At the culmination of the event year 7 student Cameron Dixon was crowned the winner.

Cameron wowed the judging panel with his street dance routine and was presented with the Bishop's Got Talent trophy by Headteacher, Mark Pollard. Runners up were dancer Felicia Fincher and singer Arune Laurtenaite.

A total of 15 students took part showing off a wide range of talents including drumming, piano playing, singing and a variety of dance styles.

Mark Pollard commented: "It's when you do special events like this that you realise what a talented bunch of students we have at the school. As well as pushing our students in the traditional academic subjects, it's important to encourage them to develop their artistic and extra-curricular skills as well, and our Bishop's Got Talent event is a perfect way of doing this. Congratulations to Cameron for coming out on top and a big well done to all the students that took part, they certainly impressed the judging panel."
