TRUELINE’S CHARLIE PREPARES TO TAKE ON THE ARCTIC FOR ACORNS CHILDREN’S HOSPICE

Trueline Products’ Fundraising Champion, Charlie Macaulay-Collins, is preparing to swap the comforts of home for snow, ice and temperatures well below freezing as she takes on an extraordinary Arctic challenge to raise vital funds for Acorns Children’s Hospice.

Charlie, Business Support Team Manager at Trueline Products, will travel to Sweden in early 2027 to take part in the Acorns Arctic Survival Challenge, an adventure that will push her both physically and mentally, all for a cause incredibly close to the Trueline team’s hearts.

Taking place from 28 February to 7 March, the challenge will see Charlie travel around 150km south of the Arctic Circle, where she will learn essential survival skills and take part in activities including husky driving, snowmobiling, ice fishing, fire lighting, shelter building and even digging and sleeping in a snow hole.

Charlie is hoping to raise £5,000 for Acorns Children’s Hospice, which provides specialist care and support for children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, as well as their families.

For Charlie, who is Trueline’s Fundraising Champion and was recognised with the company’s Community Award in 2026, taking on the challenge is about doing something extraordinary to help families when they need it most.

The challenge also reflects the wider community spirit that runs throughout Trueline Products. The family-run manufacturer has made supporting charities and its local communities an important part of its values, with Acorns Children’s Hospice its main charity partner, alongside continued support for KEMP Hospice and Sponsored Breaks.

From fundraising events and challenges to volunteering days and team activities, people from across Trueline regularly get involved  and Charlie is often right at the heart of it.

Now, as the countdown to the Arctic begins, the entire Trueline team will be firmly behind her as she trains, fundraises and prepares for what promises to be the adventure of a lifetime.

Every donation, share and word of encouragement will help Charlie move closer to her £5,000 target  and, most importantly, help Acorns continue its incredible work supporting children and their families.

From Trueline to the Arctic Circle, it’s going to be quite a journey and Team Trueline will be cheering Charlie on every step of the way.
