CJP Broadcast is celebrating its fifteenth anniversary this year, marking a period of steady growth that founder and Managing Director Chris Phillips says has exceeded even his own ambitions for the company.
Established in 2011 as a service consultancy, CJP is today a specialist technology business that designs and builds the studios and systems used to produce television, film, live sport and video games.
Much of that growth came from a simple principle. “Our approach has always been about understanding the customer and building the right solution around them,” Chris said. That instinct has carried CJP across broadcasting, education, corporate and sport, building studios and facilities for organisations ranging from universities to sporting clubs at every level, and moving into the fast-growing field of motion capture, now used across film, games and television.
The company today delivers projects internationally. Alongside its commercial work, CJP provides work experience for students from the Royal National College for the Blind in Hereford and supports veterans through the Armed Forces Covenant.
Chris is quick to credit the people behind that success. “A company is always about its staff,” he said. “I believe we have some of the best people in the industry, and that gives me real confidence in what comes next.”
