Worcestershire’s leading commercial property agency John Truslove has welcomed the granting of planning approval for a major logistics development in Redditch which could see 150 jobs created.
Ben Truslove, joint managing director of John Truslove, said the news meant that work on the 130,500 sq ft Aurora Park scheme on a 6.4 acre site at North Moons Moat could start this summer.
Aurora Park will see the creation of nine leasehold units ranging from 7,685 sq ft to 22,055 sq ft on a £35 million development. Completion is scheduled for the third quarter of 2027.
John Truslove has been appointed joint agents with M1 Agency to market the development.
Ben Truslove added: “Aurora Park is targeting EPC ‘A’ and BREEAM ‘Excellent’ ratings, and there is strong demand for modern sustainable business space in north Worcestershire and the wider West Midlands.
“The site’s location just three miles from Junction 3 of the M42 with links to the national motorway network is a major plus too.”
The development is a joint venture between Chancerygate and Hines European Real Estate Partners III (HEREP), which has more than £1.3 billion invested in commercial property.
