April 2026 marks Hoople’s 15th birthday.
To celebrate this important milestone in the company’s journey, Hoople will be completing 15 “good deeds” throughout the year as a way of giving back to the community that has supported them along the way. Hoople colleagues will be volunteering, fundraising, and using their skills and resources to support a range of community organisations and events during 2026.
Hoople kicked off the initiative by helping St Michael’s Hospice with their annual Christmas tree collection in January. Members of the Building Maintenance team picked up trees from across Herefordshire as part of a team of volunteers supporting this Hospice fundraiser.
Hoople’s Study Programme students are also getting involved by co-ordinating collections throughout the year for the Hereford Food Bank and other organisations supporting those in need in the county.
On ‘Random Acts of Kindness Day’ in February, Hoople treated 30 customers at the Coffee Cup Café in the County Hospital to a free drink, thanks to a lovely collaboration with Sodexo. The recipients – including Wye Valley NHS Trust staff and hospital visitors – were surprised and delighted by the gesture. One woman was so touched that she paid for the drink of the next staff member who walked through the door.
This is just the beginning. Hoople are looking forward to putting more smiles on faces throughout the year to say a heartfelt thank you for 15 years of support.
