Last week was Neurodiversity Celebration Week – a chance to reflect on prejudices and assumptions surrounding individuals with atypical minds.
To celebrate, Adapt-IT brought together some of the accessibility worlds leading figureheads (Emma Philpott MBE, Chris Dunning-Walton, Mike Cowan-Jones, TheWobblyGamer) to discuss everything related to neurodiversity in the workplace. These two free webinars are live right now on the Adapt-IT YouTube channel and cover the benefits of hiring neurodiverse individuals, the struggles that someone can face when not being given reasonable adjustment, and tips for young neurodiverse individuals when getting into work for the first time.
The feedback surrounding these webinars has been incredible to hear, and puts Adapt-IT one step closer to our goal of building a community based around making the world as accessible as possible.
