DANIEL Maskew whose previous role was with Boningale Nurseries has joined one of the UK’s leading commercial growers as its Amenity Sales Executive (July 2023).
In his new position at Wyevale Nurseries, which is based in Hereford, Daniel will be managing several key amenity accounts, pricing works and negotiating orders.
The 33-year-old, who comes from Perton near Wolverhampton, says: “I’m delighted to be joining Wyevale Nurseries. The opportunity to work with a nursery of such prestigiousness is hugely exciting. I look forward to supplementing an already experienced and knowledgeable sales team with my further 15 plus years of horticultural experience and commercial awareness.”
Daniel was previously employed by Boningale Nurseries as its Sales Manager and also spent four years there as a Sales Executive.

He has a plethora of complimentary experiences gained throughout his career so far in the horticultural industry. He joins us in very challenging but exciting times and we look forward to him getting stuck in. His role will include bring in potential new customers and building upon our current, already exceptional, customer base.”
Daniel’s career to date has included spending more than 10 years in retail, managing a family-run garden centre. He also has two years commercial nursery, hands-on, experience including propagating, growing and husbandry.
To add to this, he has around five years amenity sales experience including most recently managing a sales team of four. He also has Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Level 1, 2 & 3 qualifications.
Daniel, who has been married for 10 years and has two young daughters, adds: “In my spare time I like to be outdoors as much as possible. I am a very keen allotment holder and plant enthusiast. When I am not tending my plot, I enjoy fell, trail and, occasionally, road running. I’m a club member at Wolves & Bilston AC and enjoy hiking with my family, particularly in the Lake District and North Wales.”
