Worcestershire-based accountancy firm Ballards LLP, along with their partner company Four Squared Recruitment, are once again joining forces to raise funds for the Worcester Foodbank. Members from both Ballards LLP and Four Squared Recruitment will be participating in the Droitwich Sprint Triathlon, scheduled to take place on Sunday, July 16th. This event will challenge participants to complete a 400-meter swim, a 20-kilometer cycle, and a 5-kilometer run in pursuit of their fastest possible time.
This initiative marks the latest in a series of fundraising campaigns organised by Ballards and Four Squared Recruitment. The MP for Droitwich, Nigel Huddleston, visited the firms to extend his support and commend them for the funds raised thus far in the year.
Mr Huddleston, who also serves as the Minister for International Trade, stated, “I commend Ballards LLP and Four Squared Recruitment for their unwavering commitment to supporting local charities. Their dedication to supporting those in need in our community is truly inspiring. “
Emma Richardson, Managing Director at Four Squared Recruitment said: “We are absolutely thrilled to join forces with our friends at Ballards LLP in supporting the Worcester Foodbank. As a local business, we understand the importance of giving back to our community and supporting those in need. Taking part in the Droitwich Sprint Triathlon is not only an exciting challenge but also a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.”
The Worcester Foodbank, selected as the chosen charity of the year by a committee comprised of Ballards and Four Squared Recruitment, plays a pivotal role in providing food to over 1,000 individuals each month, with projections indicating an increase in demand year after year.
