Students, parents,, family members and staff joined Holy Trinity School students to support this year’s Macmillan Cancer Support ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ on Friday 26th September.
Between them the students raised a staggering £494.35 and all in 30mins (10:30am to 11am), with ticket sales from each House ranked from 1st to 4th position.
Trinity House - Charlie and chocolate factory 1996
Marian House - Thriller
De Matha House - 70s hippies, flower power
De Valois House - 50s Grease
Taking on theme of Decades, each of the four houses chose and decorated cakes depicting their chosen House theme with the aim of selling as many tickets as they could in the time available.
The World's Biggest Coffee Morning started in 1990 and is Macmillan Cancer Support's biggest fundraising initiative and continues to be a very popular annual charity event.
