Whatever the nature of the project the same rules apply.
A Project Manager will be required to keep a number of plates spinning throughout the life of the project, and deliver an outcome in line with the objectives and expectations of the people who initiated the project in the first place.
This course aims to develop your skills as a Project Manager, deciding on the objectives, building the team, analysing the information available and developing the ideas to deliver the project.
By the end of this course delegates will be able to:

- The Planning Cycle – understanding the stages of planning, the basic tools and techniques –useful aids to successful planning such as Critical Paths, Gantt Charts etc.
- Being a Project Manager – what makes a good Project Manager and what skills are vital to successful outcomes.
- Getting the right people for Project Teams – looking at the people in the team, Belbin Team Roles and Edward De Bono’s Six Thinking Hats
- Analysing Information – SWOT Analysis, PEST Analysis, Ishikawa (Fishbone) Model
- Implementing the Project – Project Tracking, risk analysis and contingency planning
- Dealing with Barriers – people and problems
- Implementation and Communication
- Evaluating the Project Outcome
