What is this seminar about?

International Commercial Terms, commonly known as Incoterms Rules, is a key contract clause needed when moving goods internationally whether as the exporter or the importer.

These will review what the Incoterms rules do, especially in relation to how the cost of transportation is divided and where the risk of loss or damage falls under each of the 11 terms. Whether you use ExWorks, FOB, FCA or DDP there is never a better time than to learn about the terms or upskill your current knowledge as the new set Incoterms Rules became effective on 1st January 2020.

The session includes:

The 11 terms and why ExWorks and DDP may not be a good idea

Responsibilities and obligations under each term

Where risk passes to the buyer and when the seller must insure goods

The changes to the 2020 set of Incoterms ® Rules

Who should attend?

Everyone who has any connection with sales or purchases and the international supply chain. This seminar will remove misunderstanding and shine a light on which terms are better for your individual business needs.
