What is this virtual seminar about?
This interactive session covers key points relating to customs declarations with emphasis on controlling movements to and from the EU27 once the UK leaves the Transitional Period. The session is an entry level overview ideal for anyone that hasn’t been involved with customs regulations relating to exporting and importing outside the EU but also works as a refresher of current knowledge. More detailed information is available in the follow on 2 hour sessions covering Export Declarations, Import Declarations and EU Exit Updates. The session includes:
• Customs Declarations
• What happens after EU Exit – using Common Transit for EU movements
• Making a Customs Declaration
• The Export & Import Process
• Compliance with Customs Declarations
Who should attend?
Everyone who moves goods in or out of the UK, especially if your main markets have been the EU27 Member States. It will also highlight what compliant systems you should have in place to avoid delays when the UK ends its Transitional Period with the EU. The following are examples of the type of company personnel who need to keep up-to-date:
• Newcomers to export or people only involved occasionally with exports
• Shipping department trainees
• Export administrators and managers who have had no formal training
• Buyers, purchasing and procurement staff who need to understand key issues to correctly obtain prices and understand the true “cost of ownership”
• Sales and Customer service administrators who need to understand what they are contracting

• Management trainees
