Salary: £18,500 + benefits, Location: Worcester, Full-time: 37 hours

The Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce is a member-lead, not for profit organisation which works to support the local business community and our network of members.

We have an immediate requirement for an Account Executive to join our existing Business Development team.

As a membership organisation, we continually strive to ensure that our members receive a high level of customer service. This client facing role acts as a first point of contact for enquiries and business leads, ensuring that our members’ needs are diagnosed and addressed or referred appropriately. 

You will be responsible for proactively managing a portfolio of Chamber members by keeping in regular contact, encouraging them to engage with our services both face-to-face and by telephone, as well as attending regular networking events.

You will be required to generate business leads through agreed targeted marketing strategies to help to increase our membership and take responsibility for the management of our renewals process, including the administration of CRM activities with close liaison with our Finance team to minimise membership debtors.

This is a key role for the organisation and we are looking for an enthusiastic individual, passionately committed to customer service excellence who has proven previous experience in a targeted telesales and account management role together with highly developed client relationship skills. Knowledge and experience of marketing techniques, including using a variety of social media and e-shots is also required as is a sound commercial knowledge and superb organisational skills.
