Renowned local drinks producer Westons Cider is the new sponsor of the Owners & Trainers Bar at Hereford Racecourse.

The deal for 2018 will see prominent Westons branding throughout the bar, which faces the central parade ring.  The company is also be providing prizes for the winner of the Best Turned Out Horse at every meeting as well as awards for the winning owner, trainer and jockey of every race throughout the year.
Based in the Herefordshire village of Much Marcle, Westons Cider has a long family history of premium cider-making with its roots dating back to 1880.
Rebecca Davies, Executive Director and Clerk of the Course at Hereford Racecourse said: “We are delighted that one of Herefordshire’s most successful companies and a brand associated with such high quality produce has chosen to sponsor our Owners & Trainers Bar.
“The involvement of Westons Cider is a very welcome boost to our second season since we re-opened in October 2016 and we know their support is highly valued by everyone associated with the racecourse.”
Coming up later this month, there are three racing fixtures in January on Monday 8th, Tuesday 16th and Monday 29th January.  Advance tickets start at just £10 for general admission and £40 for a ticket with a two-course lunch in the Rusty Bridge Restaurant.
In March there are two meetings to end the jump season.  The Ladies Raceday on Saturday 10th March and the Irish Raceday on Tuesday 27th March. After a break for the summer, racing will start again at Hereford in October.
