In this privately owned, independent hotel and spa you can relax, revive and rejuvenate yourself in our exquisite indoor to outdoor heated hydrotherapy pool with 8 different jacuzzi  features to ease away your aches and stresses. Take time to enjoy the thermal suite with a choice of saunas, steam room, ice fountain, foot baths and not forgetting the drench shower if you are brave enough! Our gorgeous Spa uses fantastic products by Elemis, ESPA, and  Moroccan Oil to name but a few and offers numerous treatments offering a holistic approach to being strong, calm and healthy.
 
The first spa in Malvern since 1910, one hundred years of spa heritage has been brought to life again on the outskirts of this famous town The hotel is situated on the site of an original bore hole for Malvern Spring water and this is used throughout the hotel and they even offer signature water cure spa treatments! Gorgeous afternoon teas are the icing on the cake to a perfect pampering visit!  
 
The hotel is situated close to the historic town  of Malvern with its links to the Victorian water cure with spring water, Elgar and of course the beautiful Malvern Hills topped by the Worcestershire beacon.  Malvern theatre has all the latest fantastic shows with many well known stars.  Morgan cars are still hand made at the small family run local factory just around the corner.  Conveniently  close  to railway stations which have  direct links to London, Birmingham and beyond.
 
A lot of heritage surrounds the hotel and the town but it’s modern day marketing that engages guests to come and visit.  The ‘spa’ brand links directly with the history of the water cure  treatments and the natural springs in and around Malvern.  It is a unique selling point for the hotel but modern day social media is the most successful advertising forum to date.  It is almost impossible to think of a business that does not interact with it’s customers on Facebook. Twitter, Instagram and the like.  Over the last 1.5 years we have actively used social media which has helped with our online presence and  driving traffic to our website.   They say ‘A picture paints a thousand words’ and Instagram is proof of that! Real life images and feedback is far more valuable, and indeed successful,  than any pre printed brochure.
 
Our social media channels are run directly from within the business, which enables us to create instant news to our followers.  We actively include our staff on our pages to engage and demonstrate recognition to our followers.  We have recently created a brand new page called ‘Life at The Malvern Spa’ which runs behind the scene information and engages with those following by posting up to date offers, promotions and images.  We respond to all comments made on the posts to continue the customer engagement.
 
We have seen that our followers love videos of our hydrotherapy pool, with high viewing figures regularly seen. Last year we went one step further and did our first ‘Go-Pro’ underwater video of the pool area to promote our spa offers.  We have an understanding of our target audience which enables us to promote and target our posts to specifics, such as time of day to post, to ensure their success.
 
Marketing our business in the correct way is of vital importance to us:  it’s not always about direct selling, it’s about engaging with customers and finding a way to interact.  The poll setting on facebook and Instagram stories are another great way to engage and we are increasing our use of  this feature. Being an independent company has many advantages as we can create our profile to how we like, making the posts fun and relatable.  It is vital to keep on top of marketing in this format and regular scheduled posts are a must. It’s no good ‘keeping up with the Jones’s’, you need to be surging ahead of them by engaging potential customers with innovative promotions, competitions and events. PR at it’s finest.
