OVERALL OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION – CONSULTATION HAS STARTED

Home / News & Opportunities / Member News

Date: 06/12/2017

Recently the Department for Education (DfE) announced plans to develop a new level of education from 16-18

These are known as T Levels and will focus on providing good practical work skills combined with academic study equivalent to A Level.  The intention is that at the end of the 2 year course students will be in a position to take up employment, or further study in their chosen field at Higher Apprenticeship, or degree. The T-Levels cover a wide range of industries and skills

Design of these course has just commenced and the DfE has made available an online consultation forum to get feedback from industry.  I would encourage all businesses to look at the consultation and provided feedback.  The consultation is open until Thursday 8th February 2018.
