NORTHWICK HOTEL, EVESHAM HAS CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP

The popular Grade II listed Northwick Hotel, prominently located in Waterside, Evesham has recently changed hands when the current owner decided to retire after over twenty years of trading.

Originally built as a coaching inn some 200 years ago the hotel has been refurbished in recent years and provides 28 letting bedrooms, function and meeting rooms for up to 150 guests along with grounds, children’s play area, car parking, restaurant and bars.
Sold to a private purchaser it will be run by leading UK independent hospitality management company Hospitality First.
Andrew Plimmer, Group Sales Manager for Hospitality First, said: “This was a swiftly-completed transaction, so my colleagues and I are now looking forward to managing the Northwick Hotel and further building upon its existing reputation in the region. It’s a quality, all-round hotel which will be improved steadily in the coming months. We’ll be investing in refurbishment projects along with many sales and marketing activities to develop it into Evesham’s landmark hotel. It’s a great location for leisure breaks, corporate events and of course, wedding & celebration markets – something we see huge potential for.
We’ve reopened the restaurant for Sunday Lunch and can already see our business improving. Christmas Party nights are also selling well and we’ll be open for New Year celebrations too.”
The Northwick hotel is prominently located on the edge of Evesham town centre and Chamber members will qualify for  privileged discounts on any business they conduct with the hotel.
