Little Trinity Nursery in Kidderminster joined the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on Friday 29th September and raised funds in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Nursery Manager, Miss Gaynor Carter, said: “Macmillan is a charity we like to support because most of our families have some experience of cancer and it is such worthy work that Macmillan nurses do at often a very tragic time in a person’s life that we always want to do our bit to support them.

“The children at nursery all made cakes and biscuits throughout the week so that we were ready for our coffee morning and we invited all Little Trinity parents and friends to join us.”

Little Trinity Nursery is located within the grounds of Holy Trinity School and caters for pre-school children from the age of 2 years, with the nursery encouraging creative play to help develop hand and eye co-ordination, literacy and numeracy skills, motor skills and general communication with others.

Miss Carter added: ““The children decorated gingerbread men pictures and received a small treat for entering and a prize was given to each class for the most creative design, and all week we have been selling raffle tickets to raise money, with the winner announced at the coffee morning and we raised over £180!”
