Richard Reed joins local Worcestershire creative communications agency drp as a new Chief Finance Officer. This is a new role for drp, and it is to ensure that the correct procedures and precautions are in place to help manage budgets, transactions and processes in a clear and precise way.

Richard’s main responsibilities will be to support the drp team by overseeing all the financial and reporting responsibilities within the business. Richard is a qualified chartered accountant, with over 20 years of experience. Prior to joining drp, Richard was a finance director for two years at leading international full-service provider PRG XL Video, who specialise in technical expertise and equipment, in the events and entertainment industry.
Richard has worked within industries such as retail, advertising, events and pharmaceuticals, with clients such as GSK, Nestle, Harley Davidson and Heineken.
With an extensive knowledge in finance, Richard has helped set up reporting structures and processes, introducing new methods and ways of working. He has supported several acquisitions and implemented Sarbanes Oxley regulations to a 95% success rate, with consolidations and de-consolidations both in the UK, oversees and many more.
