The husband and wife duo behind the successful Green Cow Kitchens restaurant, Herefordshire, are donning their hard hats as work commences on the estate to build a new luxury events venue.

The £2.5million build, Crumplebury, will be complete by October 2019. The ambitious team
are already receiving bookings from recently engaged couples dreaming of an autumnal
wedding next year.
Commenting on the exciting new build, Joe Evans, managing director and founder of
Crumplebury and Green Cow Kitchens, said: “We are all so excited that work has officially
begun on the estate! We’ve appointed Harpers of Leominster and at its peak, 50 pairs of
hands will construct our gorgeous new build which will consist of a beautiful banqueting
hall, lounge, bar and 11 luxury bedrooms. The build will have a pallet of steel, timber and
glass, allowing guests to take in the expansive countryside views and enjoy the setting sun.”
The banqueting hall, with floor to ceiling glass gable ends, will seat up to 200 guests.
Crumplebury will be available for exclusive use for weddings, launches, corporate
gatherings, events and exhibitions all year round.
Food will remain at the heart of the Crumplebury venture with Green Cow Kitchens
continuing to farm all its own produce, which goes into the carefully designed seasonal
menus each month.
Joe added, “We’ve been talking about our venue project for months and all of our loyal
Green Cow Kitchens guests have been hugely supportive. The feedback is so encouraging.
After five successful years at Green Cow Kitchens, we’ve learnt a lot about great hospitality
and food, and we have worked hard to ensure that the new build speaks to our history and
is true to our roots.
“We will keep Green Cow open throughout the Crumplebury construction, but we will
inevitably need to close for a short time to refurbish the kitchen. However, this will not
disrupt our busy Christmas season and we invite all guests to come and see the build take
shape over the next 12 months.”
Crumplebury is securing bookings for mid-October 2019 onwards. Bespoke menus will be
created by Green Cow Kitchens depending on the season and style of event.
