Date: 24/10/2017

Two team members from Worcester based business travel agency, arrangeMY, have been announced as finalists in the inaugural everywoman in Travel Awards.

arrangeMY’s Business Services Manager, Sophie Holtom, has been nominated in the Tomorrow’s Leader category, whilst Business Travel Manager, Anna Macleod, is in the running for the Team Leader award.

Sophie will be judged for her significant contribution to the sector, whilst Anna will be scored on her team leadership and how it has contributed to arrangeMY’s success.

The 18 finalists were hand-selected by a judging panel comprising some of the travel industry’s most discerning senior figures, being identified for their career achievements to date and potential to make a significant impact on the travel industry.

Nick Scott, arrangeMY’s managing director, commented: “We are very proud to have two of our team members nominated in these awards. We are committed to supporting our staff to develop and progress within arrangeMY and it is testament to Sophie and Anna that their commitment has been recognised externally.”

The awards programme was launched this year to help recognise the exceptional women within the travel industry whose success stories will inspire the next generation and ensure the future pipeline of female talent.

The winners will be announced at the everywoman in Travel Awards ceremony at East Wintergarden, located between the iconic towers of Canary Wharf in London on 16th November.

arrangeMY has been trading since 1990 and has grown to be one of the most respected independent business travel agents in the UK. The company, which employs in excess of 60 members of staff at its head office in Worcester, offers a range of services including Travel, Accommodation, Venue Finding and Event Management.
