“Sweet Charity is highly energetic, visually stimulating and soaked in comedy for all ages to enjoy” explains Naomi Cook, Lecturer in Acting and Musical Theatre at Hereford College of Arts.

“Sweet Charity is about a girl trying to find love in all the wrong places - the musical introduces many colourful characters and will have audiences laughing and singing along - especially to those well-known tunes Big spender and Rhythm of Life”.
The College’s second year Extended Diploma Performing Arts Students are busy rehearsing for the show which cover all aspects of musical theatre – singing, dancing and acting.

(The musical was originally directed and choreographed by Bob Fosse, set and produced in the 1960's, starring Shirley Maclaine, John McMartin and Sammy Davis Jnr.)

There will be a cabaret style performance at Hereford’s Left Bank on 15th June and a full theatrical show on 21st & 22nd at the College’s Folly Arts Theatre on Folly Lane.

Dates and Times: Hereford College of Arts: Tuesday 21st  & Wednesday 22nd June at 1.00pm and 7.00pm (1.5hours running time)
