Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce is delighted to share that it has retained its Gold status in the Investors in People (IIP) Accreditation.

The IIP Standard is a framework designed to help organisations benchmark performance, measure what is working and highlight opportunities for improvement within the workplace.
The announcement comes 10 months after the Chamber was named by The Sunday Times as the 46th Best Not-for-profit Organisation to Work for 2018. In addition to the accolade, the Chamber also received a 1-Star accreditation from Best Companies, which highlights that the organisation has “very good” levels of workplace engagement.
According to the IIP, the Gold award is a challenging one to meet and is a measure of a quality employer. The Chamber has been commended for its commitment to its people, which also extended to an acknowledgement of the effort of everyone who works for the organisation.
Speaking of the award, Dawn Hardman, Director of HR, said: “Achieving and retaining the IIP accreditation at Gold Standard is really important to us, and we’re so pleased to hear that we had been successful.
“Not only does the accreditation provide us with reassurance of the value of our people strategies and practices, but the IIP framework and feedback we received is invaluable when defining our future HR programmes.”
The Chamber aims to invest in its people, and the achievements earned this year recognise the hard work each department puts in to provide the best level of support to the local business community.
