Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Hewett Recruitment, is delighted to announce the launch of the Salary & Benefits Survey for 2018.

The Salary & Benefits Survey, previously known as the Salary & Skills Survey, has been brought back after high demand for an up-to-date outlook on the local salary landscape and is the largest benchmarking surveys in the two counties. Take part here

Businesses from across the region are encouraged to get involved in the anonymous and confidential study. By doing so, they will receive an exclusive copy of the report, which will give a minimum, maximum and average salary for a variety of roles, as well as breakdowns on certain sectors and geographical areas. The report, due to be published in the autumn, will provide businesses with invaluable insight, supporting them in their attempts to secure the best candidates and retain skilled staff.

This is more important than ever, as over 50% of businesses who attempted to recruit in the first half of this year have struggled to find or hire the right staff. Whilst competitive pay is a key factor, additional benefits and flexible working opportunities are also some of the best ways to attract and retain skilled employees. For businesses that are struggling, this report will be a fantastic way to see where they might be going wrong or other tactics they can implement to help their business grow.
