EU Referendum

Home / Support / Policy / EU Referendum
The upcoming "in-out" referendum on Britain's membership of the European Union will be one of the dominant features of the UK political landscape for the coming year.

The referendum is set to take place on Thursday 23 June 2016. Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce has adopted a neutral stance in the debate and will not be campaigning for either side.

The British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) has worked with both campaigns to produce one-page briefings on business issues. The briefings include background information on why the issues matter to business and present the arguments of each campaign side-by-side. Each campaign was asked what businesses could expect from the future under their preferred referendum outcome.
