A Worcestershire youth football team are turning out in style thanks to the generosity of a county PR agency.
Rock Sports Rangers under 7s, who play in the Stourport and District League, have been provided with new match day and training tracksuits by Bewdley-based agency, Henry Pepper PR.
Lorraine Henry, managing director of Henry Pepper PR said: “The kids are having such a successful and enjoyable first season so we wanted to support them in some way. They have really gelled as a team and impressed everyone they’ve come up against for their attitude and enthusiasm.
“They have seen some great success over the past six months and the tracksuits really make the team look smart when they are representing the club. We are delighted to be involved.”
Andy Sorrell, manager of Rock Sports Rangers under 7s, said: “We are extremely grateful to Lorraine and her team for supplying the tracksuits for the kids and for supporting grassroots football here in Worcestershire.
“The kids absolutely love them and look the part when we turn up to matches and training. We are now midway through our first season and to see the kids progressing so much, enjoying their football and making new friends, is tremendous. It’s what it’s all about.”
Led by Mr Sorrell and coach Nick Ford, Rock Sports Rangers have made impressive progress so far in what is their debut season - notching up seven wins and scoring 51 goals.
Formed in 2007, Henry Pepper PR provide a variety of media, PR and communications services to clients across the UK. The agency is set to celebrate its tenth anniversary this Summer.
