Celebrating its best rankings in one of the UK’s leading legal directories, Harrison Clark Rickerbys, based in Worcester, has received more top-tier accolades than ever before in this year’s prestigious ‘Legal 500’ listing of the major law firms in England and Wales, establishing it firmly in the top flight.

This year’s success is marked by a collection of top-level ratings, and the acknowledgement of three of the firm’s lawyers as leading individuals in their fields nationally. Alongside recommendations for the firm in 18 practice areas, 40 of its lawyers are also recommended for their expertise, demonstrating that the firm stands shoulder to shoulder with the major city law firms in Birmingham and London in both breadth and depth of experience and skill.

In this year’s Legal 500, Harrison Clark Rickerbys’ teams in Worcester, Birmingham and Hereford were given the highest rankings by the directory for their corporate and commercial work, licensing expertise, commercial litigation skills, and family law services, showcasing the significant experience and knowledge of its lawyers.

The most widely used legal directory in the UK, Legal 500 is considered to be ‘the bible of the legal business’, ranking law firms for their expertise and performance to help clients identify the crème de la crème of legal expertise. The listing is based on firms’ achievements, the quality of their teams and client feedback.

Richard Morgan, partner and head of both the firm’s litigation team and its defence, security and the forces sector, is singled out as a leader in his field, as are Arpinder Dhillon, Head of Business Services in the Wye Valley, and Inez Brown, partner with the firm’s sister company Medical Accident Group.

Rod Thomas, Harrison Clark Rickerbys’ managing partner, based in Worcester, said: “We are delighted to have this acknowledgement of our high-quality teams and the breadth and depth of their expertise. It is also worth noting that we are ranked alongside national and, indeed, global firms in many specialist areas, including insolvency and construction.

“These listings, which not only rank us highly in our own regions but acknowledge our strengths in a national context, are a firm endorsement of our strength and ability to offer City-quality legal expertise locally.”

Harrison Clark Rickerbys has 400 staff and partners based at offices in Worcester, Birmingham, Hereford, Cheltenham, the Wye Valley and the Thames Valley, and who provide comprehensive legal services to both business and private clients, regionally and nationwide. The firm also has a number of highly successful teams specialising in individual market sectors, including health and social care, education, agricultural and rural affairs, advanced manufacturing, defence, security and the forces and construction.
