A stunning location that impresses customers, suppliers and partners – and an imminent favourable change in business rates – have seen a provider of software for the glazing industry move to a dedicated rural office park near Tewkesbury.
BM Aluminium Limited has leased the third last unit at Brockeridge Park – an office of 1,109 sq ft on Welland Court on a five-year lease at a guide rent of £14 per square foot.
A further two offices – one on Welland Court, the other on Bredon Court – remain on the park, which sits in glorious countryside just off junction 1 of the M50, two minutes from the M5.
BM Aluminium MD Dean Hodges said: “We have been expanding rapidly and were needing a third unit at the serviced offices we were in nearby.
“But with the forthcoming change to business rates, we’ll be paying much the same amount here at Brockeridge Park for vastly superior accommodation and broadband – and an environment that has proven a real selling point for staff, customers and everyone who visits us.”
Owner Tiarks Property Developments have gained planning permission for detailed designs for a second phase of office development, which will give occupiers the chance to either buy or rent from 3,676 sq ft up to 15,210 sq ft within two new courtyards Severn Court and Avon Court.
Developer Caspar Tiarks said: “We’ve been delighted by the speed that phase I units have been taken up and we’re heartened that occupiers are giving us rave reviews.
“Brockeridge Park has lots to commend it: a beautiful location right by the motorway network with pretty much the only offices in the Tewkesbury area not surrounded by warehouses and industrial units.
“We have also just renewed our broadband contract with the potential to go to up to 25 times faster at only 28 days notice, which is something no one else can currently match.”
Chamber strategic member Halls Commercial and John Ryde Commercial are marketing the remaining units at the Twyning office park, along with the Design & build opportunities on phase II.
