Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is set to soar to even greater heights after completing a new IT partnership with leading managed service provider EBC Group.

As part of the charity’s commitment to excellent donor care and administrative processes, the organisation, which is responsible for operating three air ambulance services covering six Midlands counties, has partnered with EBC Group in a move that will see the charity implement new state-of-the-art technology.

Operating as the largest air ambulance region in the UK, Midlands Air Ambulance Charity will look to benefit from a brand new IT infrastructure which is all backed up and hosted directly from EBC Group’s privately owned dual data centres and also includes a new disaster recovery solution, improved connectivity as well as a new Swyx telephony system.

Jason Levy, fundraising and marketing director for Midland Air Ambulance Charity explains the importance of the move: “It is vitally important to the charity and our operational service that our communications and IT infrastructure is equipped to manage the increasing demand on our service. Selecting EBC Group as part of our long term strategy will provide us with continuity, alongside the flexibility to meet our future needs.

Richard Lane, managing director of EBC Group comments: ‘‘We are delighted Midlands Air Ambulance Charity has chosen EBC Group as its new technology partner. Having worked with the charity for a number of years via our own fundraising events, we fully support all the fantastic work the team does and look forward to working closely with them, not only via its new IT services, but also through a range of future fundraising events. Fundraising already in the pipeline includes a Festive Race Day at Wolverhampton Racecourse and entering a team into the ‘Bear Grylls Challenge’.”
