Leading Worcestershire law firm mfg Solicitors has announced two associate promotions as it continues to grow its teams across the region.

Wills and probate expert Janna Vigar has been appointed as an associate within the firm’s Private Client team while Rupinder Nandra, a matrimonial and cohabitation specialist in mfg’s Family department, has also been promoted.
Mrs Vigar, who joined mfg just over two years ago will continue to work closely with partners Peter Stephens and Valerie Robinson to support clients on a range of matters including complex will drafting and estate administration for agricultural and business properties, and elderly client affairs with a specific interest in dementia issues.
A key expert within partner Claire Backler’s Family department, Kidderminster-based Ms Nandra will continue to handle a broad variety of casework which includes divorce and separation, associated financial considerations, living together agreements and issues concerning children.
Maynard Burton, partner and chairman of mfg Solicitors said: “Both Janna and Rupinder have exceptional credentials in their specialist areas and are widely respected internally and by clients.
“Both have made significant contributions to the firm, especially over the past few years. Their promotions are well-deserved and will boost both our Private Client and Family divisions, two teams which are thriving and advising more clients than ever before.”
Ms Nandra joined mfg Solicitors in 2010 and is a regular commentator on family-related issues in the media. A qualified solicitor advocate, she is also a trustee of Birmingham charity, Roshni, an organisation which supports Asian women and children who have suffered from domestic violence or forced marriage.
Mrs Vigar is an associate member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP), a global professional association for those who specialise in family inheritance, and is a fully accredited member of Solicitors for the Elderly, a national association of lawyers who specialise in advising the elderly and vulnerable.
