A Herefordshire law firm has announced a major new appointment as it begins an expansion of its residential property services.

Karen Ross has taken up her post as a senior conveyancer for residential property at Lanyon Bowdler based in the Hereford office but with specific responsibility for their new Bromyard office, where she will be working several days a week.

The move is the latest in a series of appointments by the company as it continues to grow across its personal and commercial services.

Karen will be working with the already well known team in the Hereford offices and helping clients with their residential property needs across Herefordshire, including Leominster as well as Bromyard and Hereford.

Brian Evans, managing partner at Lanyon Bowdler, said the growth of the team was a reflection of the demand for the firm’s services in this area.

“We have an experienced and qualified team helping clients to buy and sell residential property,” he said. “It is an area that is growing all the time and we are keen to ensure we offer the best possible service to our clients.

“The residential property market in Herefordshire has continued to perform strongly over the summer, and we are seeing a steady rise in the number of clients coming to us for conveyancing work.

“Following the merger with Beaumonts Solicitors earlier this year we have been keen to expand the services we offer from our Bromyard office, so we are delighted Karen has joined us to help support clients in the local area.

“She will be spending time in both the Hereford and Bromyard offices making sure that clients have access to quality expertise which is easily accessible to them.

“Karen is a talented addition to our team and we are sure her appointment and experience will prove beneficial to clients as we help them to complete their transactions as efficiently, smoothly and stress-free as possible.”

Karen qualified as a legal executive in 1991 and has experience in all types of property work, including sales and purchases, both freehold and leasehold, shared ownership properties, new build plot transactions, remortgages and transfers of equity.

She said: “I am really pleased to have joined Lanyon Bowdler and look forward to helping the residential property team expand its services in the area.

“Our main aim is to provide excellent customer service and help take the stress out of property transactions for our clients.”
