HOWZAT! MEDIA TRAINING CLUB HEADS TO NEW VENUE

Home / News & Opportunities / Member News

Date: 07/02/2017

A THRIVING media training club founded by Worcester-based communications consultancy Chris Green Media has a new home for 2017.

The CGM Business Media Club will now meet at The View at Worcestershire County Cricket Club on the last Friday of the month.

Launched in 2013, the club is aimed at company owners, managers, business development and marketing staff. When the club celebrated its third anniversary in September 2016, CGM received congratulations from Worcester MP Robin Walker for providing valuable opportunities for networking, training and personal development.

Each meeting is themed with the club’s next meeting on Friday, February 24, presented by CGM managing partner Chris Green, focusing on making the most of LinkedIn.

The club, which supports Worcestershire charity Mentor Link, covers ten major media topics every year split into three main areas: communications, PR and marketing and image and reputation. Members choose specific strategies and skills in each category.

Mr Green said: “We’ve had three successful years at Wild Wood Rooms on the outskirts of Worcester and are confident that the club will continue to grow in the heart of the city.”

Jon Graham, managing director of Worcestershire County Cricket Club, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Business Media Club members and visitors to The View in 2017.”

Visitors are welcome to attend the meeting on February 24, which runs from 9.45am to 12.30pm. For more details, call 01905 453908 or email info@chrisgreenmedia.co.uk
