A few weeks ago the Herefordshire Housing Group, which incorporates the Independence Trust, were honoured to win the prestigiousTSA’s Crystal Award for Technology Enabled 21st Century Care and Support.
The award was in recognition of their flagship enhanced living scheme; Henffordd Gardens.

The scheme offers an innovative approach to care solutions by providing an alternative to more traditional and costly care pathways and which focuses on enabling service users to maintain their independence and to reduce the likelihood of hospital admission. By combining the latest telecare and telehealthtechnology with care packages it has enabled service users to receive holistic, individualised care to support both mental and physical needs.
