West Midland Safari Park will be opening a brand new, exciting children’s play area this summer, all themed around CBeebies’ favourite, ‘Boj'.

‘Giggly Park’ will be an immersive, multi-sensory and themed play area, located next to the Park’s African Village. Children will be able to find ‘Boj’ and his friends whilst they explore and play in the five interactive, different zones, designed specifically for younger visitors.

The £850,000 project features ‘Boj', a rare burrowing bilby from the Australian outback, created by Pesky Productions, who have been heavily involved in the project. The different zones will feature other characters from the show, such as Mia, Mr Cloppity and Denzel and will all have different activities and objects to explore.

The Park’s Project Manager, Neil James, said, “This has been a really exciting and challenging project to work on and something that is completely different to our current attractions around site. We really embraced the up-cycling philosophies of Boj and his friends throughout the design and build to give an immersive experience for our younger explorers - Giggly Park has really come to life here at West Midland Safari Park.

Giggly Park will be included in West Midland Safari Park’s standard admission charge of £23.00 for adults, £18.00 for children aged 3-15 and £21.00 for concessions. Under 3s are free. Admission includes a voucher for a return visit or safari gift. Adventure Theme Park rides are charged extra.

Further information and tickets are available from the Park’s website or by telephone 01299 402114. You can find out more on the Safari Park’s official Facebook page:
