Holy Trinity School in Kidderminster will be holding a Primary, Senior and Sixth Form Centre Open Evening on Wednesday 5th October, between 5pm and 7:30pm.
Holy Trinity has a long tradition of academic excellence and pastoral care, with a strong emphasis on high expectations for all pupils and on academic rigour, which has helped maintain success in national tests and public examinations.
Headteacher, Mrs Pamela Leek-Wright, said: “Holding open events provides students of all ages the opportunity of looking around the school, meeting teaching staff and asking any questions they may have well in advance of the forthcoming registration deadlines.”
At primary school level, Holy Trinity students are above local and national expectations for combined, writing, reading and maths in KS1 and at KS2 out performed national and county expectations in each of writing, reading and maths.
In this year’s A level and GCSE results, academic excellence was again evident with all A level students gaining first choice University places or chosen work placements. 85% of GCSE students achieved 5, A*- C grades, including English and Maths with 70% of all students securing A*, A and B grades.
Catering for students from 4 years through to 18 years of age, the Birmingham Road based school invites students and their families to take a tour of their facilities including Primary, Senior and recently extended Sixth Form Centre.
Head of Sixth Form, Dr Melanie Hinton, added: "In the Sixth Form our small class sizes offer a tutorial teaching style differentiated to meet the educational needs of each student ensuring everyone reaches their full potential.
“Specialist subject staff are on hand to offer extra help and support throughout the day to maximise achievement and accelerate progress.”
