Last night (Tuesday 28 March), guests, sponsors and finalists of the Chamber Photo Competition enjoyed seeing the winners revealed at an event at Worcester City Art Gallery & Museum.
The Photo Competition aimed to engage with local businesses in a new and creative way, whilst offering them the opportunity to showcase their business visually. It also recognised the importance of images in 21st
century business and the value that personalised images bring to marketing.
Attendees were welcomed by Rebekah Harris, Marketing Assistant at Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce, and enjoyed a presentation from Gavin Allen, Managing Director at Photoglide Ltd. Gavin provided an insight into getting the best out of your camera, and shared his top tips for capturing products, people and places.
The winners were then announced as follows:
First place - Joanne Till, GT Access – “Scissor Skyline”
Second place - Jon Williams, Eastnor Pottery – “Nail Art!”
Third place - Mark Williams, Rock Power Connections – “Substation at Sunrise”
The winners were afterwards presented with their prizes; including a Bespoke Hamper from Luxury Hampers & Gifts, £100 Voucher for London Camera Exchange and a Photoglide Photography School Course or Training Session.
