PUT YOUR BUSINESS IN FRONT OF YOUNG PEOPLE AT LOCAL CAREERS FAIRS

Home / News & Opportunities / Chamber News

Date: 19/05/2017

Local businesses have a great opportunity to showcase what they can offer and engage with young people at a series of Careers Fairs in Worcestershire.

The Careers Fairs project aims to provide young people with ‘encounters’ and information, motivating, inspiring and enabling them to engage more proactively with businesses, resulting in better ‘buy-in’ to their individual careers advice plan. Our events aim to be exciting, fast moving, interactive and motivational.

We are looking for business exhibitors to take a free stand at the schools, which show young people real career routes. We hope to provide young people with the opportunity to develop their confidence when talking with potential future employers.

The events are as follows:

School Date Time Year Group
Tudor Grange Academy, Worcester Monday 26 June  10.00am-1.00pm Year 10 and Sixth Form
Hagley High School, Stourbridge Monday 3 July  10.00am-2.00pm Years 9, 10 and 12
Bishop Perowne High, Worcester   Thursday 13 July 9.00am-1.00pm Years 9, 10 and Students from Aspire Academy

If you would like to book your FREE place to have a stand at any or all of the above events, please email events@hwchamber.co.uk

Further details about each individual event will be sent a couple of weeks prior to the event date. The Chamber will provide all exhibitors with refreshments throughout the day and a networking lunch.
