Date: 20/03/2017

Local Worcestershire-based creative and comms agency drp has earned a commendable two stars in this year’s Best Companies accreditations.

The Best Companies organisation quantifies the standards of companies based on surveys taken by their employees. drp has been a Best Company accredited organisation for the last seven years and is also a Gold Standard Investor in People.

An abundance of organisations from a wide range of industries use the Best Company’s employee survey in 2016 to measure the engagement of their employees. The responses from these surveys are collated and combined to produce an overall engagement score for each organisation.

Dale Parmenter, CEO at drp, commented on Best Companies, “When the team is motivated in what they are doing, they’re happier, as well as more productive and invested in the company’s success. Our aim is to use this invaluable information gained from the surveys to progress and improve our workplace. Accreditations such as this are very important to us. We were the first in the industry to gain the sustainability accreditation ISO20121 and last year we gained the ISO27001 data security accreditation. They are a vital part to how we work as a team, and a happy team means happy clients – it’s all connected – and we will be ensuring further developments into 2017.”

2016 saw drp deliver one of its most prosperous years to date, and over £250,000 of investment went into the team’s professional development, such as training and apprenticeships, as well as £200,000 in leadership and client insight, which is continuing this year. drp currently has 181 highly specialist professionals in three different U.K. offices.
