Last month, local creative experience agency drp delivered CP Foods (UK) Limited’s Employee Conference at drp’s 212 studios in Worcestershire. The company conference, CPF Together, hosted 160 employees from the CP Foods UK Head Office, their manufacturing plant in Newmarket, UK Group subsidiaries and, via a two-way live link, the rest of the teams based in Paris, Thailand, and Poland.
The interactive event began in Studio 1, with an opening presentation created from UGM and selfies, enabling a feeling of one team. The business session focused on financial updates, new products, customer updates, and priorities for the year. The live links enabled interaction from the overseas teams, including online real-time food tasting and rating of products.
For lunch, employees were directed through a branded tunnel and into the food market, held in Studio 3. This was a culinary experience with a variety of international products that CP Foods UK, through their subsidiary ‘the FoodFellas’, provide to their customers, in retail and food service. Everything was served from themed market stalls and a mocktail bar took centre stage.
Later in the day, the delegates in teams of 10 were challenged to bring new products to life by making 30 second TV commercials. This involved writing the script, producing the message, designing the graphics and then using Studio 2 to produce their commercial using green screen technology.
The day concluded with a playback of all the TV Commercials and a global vote on the winning production. Serious achievement awards brought the day to a close, in Thailand it was 10pm, however the team stayed connected to join the group photograph.
