Home / News & Opportunities / Chamber News

Date: 21/07/2017

With inflation, interest rates and the impact of exchange rates at the forefront of businesses minds post-Brexit...

The Chamber of Commerce is delighted to invite local businesses to attend their Annual Bank of England Breakfast to meet with and hear from Graeme Chaplin, the Bank of England Agent for the West Midlands and Oxfordshire.

Graeme will be joining the leading local business group to give his annual update on the Bank of England's latest economic forecasts and he will explain the role of the Bank in promoting stability in the UK financial sector post-Brexit. Following the presentation there will be an opportunity to ask questions, however due to the confidential nature of this event it will be held under Chatham House rule.

The event which is taking place 7.30–9.00am, on Friday 29 September 2017 at The Courtyard, Hereford, is expecting up to 100 senior business leaders in attendance. As well as the fantastic opportunity to hear from the Agent, guests will also have the opportunity to network with senior business leaders from across the two counties over refreshments and delicious breakfast rolls.

Booking is essential and as this is an extremely popular event, we’d encourage guests to secure their space early to avoid disappointment. Booking is available online or alternatively contact Sophia Haywood, Policy Manager on sophiah@hwchamber.co.uk
